Diagnosis of Esophageal Cancer

Upper GI Endoscopy – A small tube is passed through the mouth, and a biopsy is obtained. During endoscopy, if proper sedation is given, the procedure becomes painless.

Risk Factors for Esphogeal Cancer

  • Smoking
  • Alcohol
  • Obesity
  • Barrett’s Esophagus
