Helicobacter Pylori Infection

H. pylori (Helicobacter pylori) are bacteria that can cause an infection in the stomach or duodenum (first part of the small intestine). It’s the most common cause of peptic ulcer disease

Symptoms

Symptoms and signs, if present, are those that arise from gastritis or peptic ulcer and include:

  • Indigestion
  • Burping
  • Loss of appetite
  • Dull or burning pain in your stomach
  • Unplanned weight loss
  • Nausea or Vomiting
  • Dark stool
  • Bloating

Diagnose

Prevention

You can lower risk of H. Pylori Infection if you:

  • Drink Clean Water
  • Use clean water during food preparation
  • Wash your hands thoroughly (20sec.) with soap.
