Liver disease
is any disturbance of liver function that causes illness. The liver is liable for many critical functions within the body and will it becomes diseased or injured, the loss of these functions can cause significant damage to the body. Liver disease is additionally mentioned as hepatic disease.
One of the liver diseases that is called Cirrhosis is suspected in the patients with above-mentioned symptoms and is confirmed by investigations. Similarly, Chronic Hepatitis B & Chronic Hepatitis C are also common liver diseases.
As the name suggests, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease is an accumulation of fat in the liver in the absence of a significant amount of alcohol intake.
Normal liver contains some amount of fat, but if fat is > 10% of liver weight, it is diagnosed with fatty liver.
